Hi fellow human,

It’s spring here, and for me apparently that means everything seems to happen at once. Last weekend, we hosted a lovely Weird Music Night here in New Haven featuring two local-ish and three traveling artists. I didn’t perform, but I helped document it and it was excellent.

And there’s been a lot more going on besides that — there have been some shows, art openings, and other endeavors — but I want to keep this short since I need to prepare for the show this Saturday. I’ll be performing audio for the first time in a while. (In Reality Orp, my collaborative AV project with Andrei, we trade off doing visuals and sound, and I’ve done the visuals the past few times… So it’s my turn to think about music for once. I’m dusting off some half-finished synth loops, radios, microphones…)

In this and future newsletters, I think it will make things more interesting if I include some things I enjoyed that were made by other people. I want to do my part to support the interconnected independent web! So here are some links:
