Dear Readers,

This is a very brief message, because I am planning to send out another, longer update in early July! But for now, I wanted to let you know of an upcoming event, in case you’re in the area:

We are coming to ChaNorth in Pine Plains, NY this Saturday (June 27) to perform a live audiovisual set as REALITY ORP for Weird Music Night.

We’ll probably be performing on the later side of this event, since it’s outdoors and we are using a projector. But it’s worth coming a little earlier to check out the other art; last year, they had some cool sculptures in the forest, and open studios for the artists in residence there.

Additionally, if you’re anywhere near Beacon, NY, consider checking out this other cool Upstate Arts Weekend event, which I’m not involved with but I hope to stop by myself:

On Friday to Sunday, June 26th-28th, the Shigeko Kubota Video Art Foundation is open from 12-5 every day, with historic video art exhibits and interactive video synthesis workshops and portraiture, hosted by Wavefield (Brooklyn-based video art friends).

And if you’re nowhere near Upstate NY, please stay tuned, as my next message will be location-agnostic!
